About Saint Gregory Choir

Our History

Founded in 1985, the Saint Gregory Choir has been a cornerstone of musical excellence and spiritual devotion at Saint John Bosco Catholic Church, Asaba.

For nearly four decades, our choir has served the parish community through beautiful liturgical music, enhancing the celebration of the Holy Mass and special liturgical events. What began as a small group of dedicated singers has grown into a vibrant community of talented musicians united in faith.

Named after Saint Gregory the Great, a pope known for his contributions to Church music through Gregorian chant, our choir continues this rich tradition while embracing contemporary sacred music that speaks to modern congregations.
